Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you reconnect with who you are, what you care about, and how you want to live. My approach is person-centred and existential at its core, blending in other methods when they are useful. I meet you where you are, and we work collaboratively from there.
You will find honesty here. You will find humour. And if you are open to it, you might even find parts of yourself you had lost or did not know existed.
CTRL+K is my practice, built for everyone but with a nod to the outsiders and outliers, the ones who feel out of place in traditional settings. I welcome the overthinkers, the inked, the alt, the neurodivergent, the creatively burned out, the ones navigating identity, and anyone who has never quite felt at home in counselling before.
I offer face-to-face therapy in central Shrewsbury and online via secure video call.
This is not your typical therapy room. No beige walls. No inspirational posters. No jargon. No clipboard clichés. Just a quiet space and someone who genuinely sees you.
For many people, therapy means facing some of the hardest and most complex parts of life. Just because my space feels relaxed or a little unconventional does not mean I take the work any less seriously.
I am registered with the BACP and work in line with their ethical framework, which means I take your safety, autonomy, and wellbeing seriously. I hold the same respect for classical counselling and psychotherapy as any traditional practice. I simply offer those foundations in a way that feels more accessible and human, especially for people who have not always felt comfortable in traditional therapy spaces, while still being a welcoming place for anyone who wants to do this work.
CTRL+K is the keyboard shortcut for inserting a hyperlink, a quiet nod to connection. That is what therapy is about: linking the past to the present, the internal to the external, the stories we have carried to the ones we want to write next.
And yes, I like the techy, nerdy, glitch-core undertones too.
Whether you are navigating gender, mental health, grief, trauma, identity, burnout, anxiety, or simply feel like a misfit in a world that demands sameness, this space is yours.
CTRL+K is a safe, supportive, and radically human place to do the deep work. No mask required.
Alongside therapy, I facilitate workshops and group trainings for organisations, schools, and communities. I teach the way I work, with honesty, humour, and zero pretence.
These sessions are designed for real people, not policy documents. Topics include:
This is not PowerPoint and policy learning. It is real talk, with room for vulnerability, humour, and growth.
