Didn’t find what you were looking for? I'm just an email away: hello@ctrlk.co. No scripts, no bots.
CTRL+K is a modern therapy practice designed for people who don’t always feel at home in traditional therapy settings. I blend professional counselling with creativity, honesty, and alt-culture energy — welcoming everyone, especially those who feel “othered” by typical approaches.
My approach is primarily person-centred and existential. It is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and meaningful connection. I also integrate techniques from other models to tailor therapy to your needs.
Anyone, and I mean that. Whether you are navigating mental health challenges, identity questions, life transitions, relationship patterns, or simply wanting to reconnect with yourself, you are welcome here.
I want CTRL+K to feel genuinely accessible to everyone, including people from neurodivergent, queer, alt, and creative communities who have not always felt at home in traditional therapy spaces. You do not have to belong to any particular group to be here. If you are human and curious about your inner world, this space is for you.
People have strong opinions about this, and different professionals use the words in different ways. Some see a clear distinction, with counselling focusing on the here and now and therapy going deeper into long-term patterns. Others use the terms to describe different levels of training.
I use the words counselling and therapy interchangeably. My work can be short-term or long-term, surface-level or deep, depending on what you need. With the influence of US social media, the word therapy is becoming more common in the UK, and I will be honest, I also think it sounds a bit cooler. What matters most is the relationship we build and the work we do together, not the label.
No judgment. Just a conversation. We'll talk about what’s brought you here and what you’d like support with — at your pace.
Yes. Everything you share in therapy is confidential, with only a few legal exceptions (e.g. risk of serious harm). We’ll go through this clearly before we begin.
Yes, online sessions are available for clients worldwide. I use secure platforms and create a private, focused space no matter the format.
Absolutely. Whether you want a one-off space to talk something through or longer-term support, we can work with whatever fits your life right now.
Yes! I also run workshops and psychoeducational sessions on themes such as modern masculinity, neurodivergence, vulnerability, identity, and inclusion — with the same authentic and creative style that defines CTRL+K.
I know that not every therapeutic experience feels safe or helpful, and that can make trying again feel daunting. At CTRL+K, you won’t be pathologised, rushed, or judged. We’ll move at your pace and honour your past experiences, good or bad.
Not at all. It’s totally normal to feel unsure, overwhelmed, or even blank at first. You don’t need to have a plan. We’ll figure it out together.
Nope. You’re in control of what you share, when you share it, and how. This isn’t a space where you’re pushed; it’s a space where you’re met.
I aim to meet people with curiosity, respect, and cultural humility, not assumptions. You do not have to educate me on your existence or justify who you are. If I ever misunderstand something, I welcome honest conversation and feedback. My intention is to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and safe to be yourself.
Definitely. I work with people from all kinds of backgrounds and identities, and you do not need to fit any particular description to be here. CTRL+K is also a space where neurodivergent, queer, chronically ill, tattooed, alt, and creative people often feel especially at ease, because many have not always felt understood in more traditional therapy settings. Whoever you are, you are welcome.
Absolutely. If you’re a community group, educator, workplace, or fellow creative doing important work, especially in areas like identity, inclusion, masculinity, or neurodivergence, I'd love to hear from you.
I try to keep therapy as accessible as possible. If cost is a barrier, let’s talk. I can't promise, but I may be able to help or signpost alternative options.
It’s a keyboard shortcut that creates a hyperlink.
For me, it’s a metaphor for connection: with ourselves, with others, with something meaningful. Therapy is often the link between where we are and where we want to be.
