Why CTRL+K?

In most software, CTRL+K inserts a link.

In therapy, it’s a reminder of what’s possible when you have the space to look at things properly.

  1. 01Reconnect what’s been disconnected.
  2. 02Change what gets carried forward.
  3. 03Choose what you link to.

My approach

You don’t need fixing. You need space to reconnect the parts that got lost, quieted or overwritten.

I work with the places where things feel disconnected: old stories, stuck patterns, unexplored parts. Together we explore what sits underneath, at a pace that feels safe, so you can move forward with clarity.

/person-centred

You lead, I walk alongside

Person-centred at the core, with an existential lens on meaning, choice and what matters to you.

/affirming

No translating yourself

Neurodivergent-affirming and LGBTQ+ inclusive. You don’t have to explain or justify who you are.

/trauma-aware

Safety before speed

Shaped by years supporting survivors. We go at a pace your nervous system can actually manage.

/masculinity-conscious

Room for the unsaid

Space to unpick the scripts about strength, feelings and coping that so many of us were handed.

More about how I work

Working with trauma

Healing at a pace that feels safe.

Much of my work is with people living with the effects of trauma, whether that’s one event or something that went on for a long time. It can show up as anxiety, numbness, anger, shame, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.

My work supporting survivors has shaped how I understand the ways people cope and protect themselves, and how healing can unfold without being rushed.

About me

Hi, I’m Stevie.

I’m a qualified counsellor and BACP member based in Shrewsbury. Before training, I spent more than twenty years in leadership roles, which taught me a lot about systems, integrity and the human impact of decisions.

Much of my work has been with trauma, particularly supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence, alongside men’s work, masculinities and inclusion. I work the same way I teach: with honesty, humour and zero pretence.
