I’m Stevie, a counsellor in training currently building client hours while studying for a foundation degree in Counselling Theory and Practice with Staffordshire University. I offer person-centred, trauma-sensitive support to adults facing a wide range of emotional challenges — from grief and identity shifts to relational struggles, anxiety, and the quiet weight of experiences that feel too much or not enough.
My practice is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. Before training as a counsellor, I spent over two decades in leadership roles that deepened my understanding of systems, integrity, and the human impact of decision-making. That experience continues to shape how I hold space: with clarity, attunement, and respect for complexity.
I also have a background in facilitating safe, inclusive spaces — particularly within men’s work, explorations of masculinities and inclusion, equity and diversity. I believe in meeting people where they are, gently holding space for what’s emerging, and supporting them to be their own change.
